What you will do

• Manage end-to-end subcontract processes including planning, sourcing, tendering, and negotiation.
• Perform supply chain risk assessments and due diligence to support bid and project teams.
• Collaborate with commercial and legal teams to ensure ASDEFCON head contract flow-down compliance.
• Develop project-specific special conditions and subcontract templates.
• Lead RFP/Q response evaluations to achieve best value for money.
• Oversee scope changes, variations, and milestone payments in coordination with Finance and Legal.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in subcontract management within the defence industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the ASDEFCON contract suite, including IP, security, and liability clauses.
• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Ability to obtain/hold Australian Defence Security Clearance (Baseline/NV1/NV2).
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven commercial acumen and experience working with legal counsels on contractual matters.
