What you will do

• Lead Product Technology Diligence engagements for Private Equity and strategic clients to assess software platforms.
• Analyze application architecture, scalability, and product modularity to ensure roadmap credibility.
• Review cloud infrastructure and cost structures, including hosting models and R&D cost allocation.
• Assess SDLC processes, engineering metrics, and overall engineering productivity.
• Identify technical debt, refactoring risks, and operational inefficiencies impacting roadmap delivery.
• Develop investment-grade red flag reports linking technical findings to valuation, growth, and margins.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in software engineering leadership, architecture consulting, product strategy advisory, or tech diligence.
• Professional experience in SaaS, marketplace, fintech, vertical software, or platform environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost structures and DevOps environments.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Must be based in the US to support the hybrid work model.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
