What you will do

• Own the portfolio of payments and network partners, including card networks, processors, tokenization providers, and fraud platforms.
• Lead commercial strategy, including interchange optimization, contract renewals, and ongoing cost management.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions for payments infrastructure and emerging payment technologies.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Risk teams to improve transaction reliability and scalability.
• Monitor market trends and competitive developments to identify new partnership opportunities.
• Support operational excellence by leveraging commercial strategy to optimize settlement quality and reconciliation performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or payments across product, strategy, or partnership roles.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience evaluating unit economics and pricing models.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).

Nice to have

• Experience working with card networks, payment processors, or issuer-side partnerships.
• Familiarity with banking-as-a-service, debit card programs, or payment orchestration.
• Experience with tokenization, fraud platforms, or multi-processor strategies.
