Location: Remote (must be based in the United States or Canada)

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 USD + pre-IPO equity package

Owner is an AI-native system designed for local business owners, starting with restaurants, to replace fragmented tools with an agentic ecosystem for growth and operations.

What you will do

• Own the AI opportunity map by identifying, sizing, and prioritizing high-impact problems across the business.
• Lead the full lifecycle of AI builds from diagnosis and shipping to deployment and iteration.
• Develop and ship LLM-powered solutions, including agents, assistants, structured output systems, and context engineering.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in BizOps, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, and Product to implement solutions.
• Iterate on builds based on real-world performance to ensure visible impact on double-digit company-wide KPIs.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States or Canada.
• Proven track record of identifying and solving critical business problems in a 0-1 or startup context.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, integrating APIs, and implementing evals and structured outputs.
• 3+ years of experience in 0-1 operations or startup roles.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
• Strong communication skills to break down complex concepts for both human and AI teammates.
