What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy for electrical systems and software across all product lines.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to integrate quality early in the development lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce testing and validation protocols for embedded systems, firmware, and companion apps.
• Ensure compliance with global industry standards including UL, FCC, CE, and cybersecurity regulations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents.
• Build and lead a cross-functional team of electrical quality engineers and software QA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in hardware/software quality engineering, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven expertise in embedded systems, IoT devices, and mobile applications.
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and standards such as ISO 9001, ISTQB, and Agile testing.
• Strong understanding of product safety, EMC, and cybersecurity standards.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Needham, MA, United States

Nice to have

• Experience with smart home devices, wearables, or electronics-heavy consumer goods.
• Certifications in ASQ, ISTQB, Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Experience managing distributed quality teams and global manufacturing partners.
