What you will do
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, procedures, and process plans.
- Execute automated and manual testing for software functionality, usability, compatibility, and performance.
- Document, analyze, track, and report defects while maintaining known-defect databases.
- Review product designs, requirements, schedules, and technical documentation to identify risks and quality issues.
- Test system modifications across software, hardware, operating system, and network environments.
- Collaborate with development, business analysis, and product teams to diagnose problems and recommend solutions; mentor junior QA engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with testing tools.
- 5+ years of experience testing Microsoft-centric solutions and development processes.
- Experience with .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, Agile/Kanban methodologies, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience creating test documentation, executing test cases, and reporting software defects.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools to improve test automation, defect detection, or quality processes.
