What you will do

• Act as global component owner for pitch bearings, overseeing the process from design to operation.
• Define and maintain technical specifications based on industry standards and operational needs.
• Lead the design and development of rolling bearings in collaboration with suppliers.
• Plan and execute validation activities, including laboratory and field testing.
• Perform load assessments and optimize FEM calculations for pitch bearings.
• Contribute to DFMEA processes and drive continuous field improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Over 8 years of experience in the wind industry in a bearing engineering role.
• Strong expertise in rolling bearings, tribology, and wind turbine loads.
• Proficiency in FEM analysis and structural calculations.
• Experience with DFMEA, validation processes, and certification standards.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken); Spanish or German is a plus.
