What you will do

• Evaluate wind turbine rotor blades and components in accordance with international standards such as IEC 61400-5.
• Perform structural analysis and finite element calculations (FEA) using commercial simulation tools like ANSYS.
• Conduct inspections of manufacturer facilities to witness the correct implementation of rotor blade designs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and implement techniques to automate and improve internal calculations and processes.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis, fatigue failure, and FEA calculations.
• Proficiency in numerical simulation tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS or similar).
• Knowledge of fiber-reinforced plastic materials, classical laminate theory, and composite failure criteria.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally.
• Good English language skills (written and spoken).
