What you will do

• Review R&D designs to eliminate mechanical tolerance stack-ups and assembly risks.
• Optimize mechanical assembly jigs, alignment fixtures, and laser-welding beds for line repeatability.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to release assembly line setups and resolve build bottlenecks.
• Conduct hands-on Design of Experiments to establish process windows for gluing and thermal dispensing.
• Analyze build and end-of-life failures to implement rapid engineering adjustments.
• Audit and challenge the work of external industrialization teams to ensure high-yield production.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an Industrialization, Manufacturing, or NPI Engineer.
• Proven track record in scaling production of battery modules, power electronics, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong ability to interpret 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Deeply practical, hands-on workshop mentality with experience in semi-automated production environments.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical failure data into actionable engineering changes.
• Ability to coordinate complex technical tasks across internal and external teams.
