Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Chicago HQ or Bellevue office; recurring in-office days may be required

Base salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, plus variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex end-to-end design initiatives across discovery, hypothesis framing, execution, review, and delivery.
• Design multi-step, data-dense enterprise workflows, information architectures, dashboards, and user journeys.
• Create human-centered interactions for AI features, including automated risk predictions and insights.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and customer-facing subject matter experts to define problems and align user needs with business outcomes.
• Contribute components, patterns, and documentation to the Risk Cloud design system.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research, facilitate design critiques, improve team practices, and mentor product designers.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer on complex B2B software or enterprise SaaS platforms, with a portfolio of shipped, high-impact features.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, component libraries, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff.
• Experience contributing to and expanding design systems at scale.
• Ability to define ambiguous problem spaces and create structured, scalable solutions.
• Experience planning, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Strong collaboration skills with Product Management, Engineering, and customer-facing experts.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex enterprise B2B workflows, data-focused products, or AI and automation capabilities.
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance, cybersecurity, audit, or enterprise risk management.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Experience with design operations, team ceremonies, or design mentorship.
