Location: Hybrid in Seattle, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $252,000–$294,000 per year

What you will do

• Set the UX vision and design strategy across hardware, deployment, web, and mobile products.
• Own the end-to-end experience across a complex multi-product ecosystem and connect product lines into cohesive operational workflows.
• Translate sensor feeds, device telemetry, and live monitoring systems into intuitive experiences for security and operations customers.
• Build, lead, mentor, recruit, and scale the design and research function.
• Establish design standards, patterns, and a scalable design system across hardware and software.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams while advocating for design-led decisions at the executive level.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including 3+ years leading and scaling a design team or function.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end product design work with measurable outcomes across a complex multi-product ecosystem.
• Experience designing intuitive enterprise or operational experiences for highly technical or data-dense systems.
• Experience owning or significantly contributing to a design system and applying user research to product decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership in adopting AI-powered tools and workflows within design and ideally engineering organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools.

Nice to have

• Experience designing products that combine hardware and software.
• Background in B2B, operational, physical security, IoT, or monitoring software.
• Experience designing AI-enabled product features.
• Experience in a high-growth or scaling environment.
