Recruiter, Applied AI (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time

What you will do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for Applied AI roles, including Solutions Architects, Pre-Sales Engineers, front-line managers, and other customer-facing technical positions.
• Partner with Applied AI leadership and GTM recruiting colleagues to create hiring strategies aligned with broader GTM objectives.
• Develop sophisticated sourcing strategies for candidates combining technical depth, customer empathy, and business acumen.
• Build talent pipelines covering LLMs, cloud architecture, enterprise software integration, and technical consulting.
• Create personalized candidate experiences and use Claude and other AI tools to improve recruiting efficiency.
• Provide data-driven insights on compensation trends and talent availability in the Applied AI market.

Requirements

• Experience recruiting customer-facing technical roles requiring strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
• Understanding of LLMs, APIs, cloud architectures, and enterprise system integration.
• Ability to assess how candidates communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Track record of building trusted advisor relationships with technical hiring managers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
• Passion for applying AI to recruiting while maintaining a human-centered approach.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of technical or technical sales recruiting experience, ideally in enterprise software or AI/ML GTM organizations.
• Experience recruiting pre-sales or solutions engineering roles in the AI/ML space.
• Experience supporting hypergrowth, developing specialized recruiting practices, and collaborating across recruiting teams.
• Technical background or experience recruiting for highly specialized technical positions.
