Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: On-site at the New York City headquarters

Salary: $150K–$260K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing strategy through candidate close.
• Build interview processes, targeted recruiting campaigns, industry relationships, and long-term talent pools.
• Partner with research and engineering leaders to hire frontier AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers.
• Use AI agents and automation for sourcing, outreach, scheduling, note-taking, and feedback collection.
• Build the employer brands of hirify.global and Medal in technical, research, and science communities.
• Organize and attend events and develop experimental recruiting approaches.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience supporting technical, AI, or research teams.
• Experience hiring frontier AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers working on areas such as LLMs, multimodal AI, or robotics.
• Strong technical aptitude across software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning qualifications.
• Active interest in AI technologies and engagement with research communities.
• Experience or interest in building recruiting automation, sourcing analytics, or AI-assisted recruiting workflows.
• Existing network in the New York City technical and research community.
