What you will do
- Build, maintain, and improve reports, analytical models, and dashboards for operational decision-making.
- Analyze inventory movement, storage utilization, and space requirements to identify optimization opportunities.
- Support warehouse space optimization through racking modifications, inventory consolidation, and re-slotting.
- Evaluate inbound shipments and future receipts to ensure sufficient storage capacity and timely putaway.
- Recommend inventory transfers between distribution centers and communicate capacity risks and solutions to supply chain leadership.
- Partner with distribution center operations on location configuration, label generation, system updates, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
- Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations, including inventory placement, storage strategies, and warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment with ownership and accountability.
Nice to have
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Qlik.
