Distribution Center Team Lead (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Carrollton, TX, United States; onsite Monday to Friday, 9 am–6 pm

What you will do

• Lead, train, and coordinate a small distribution center team.
• Support delivery scheduling and inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Oversee department operations when the Distribution Center Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor is absent.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation of material-handling equipment and address safety concerns.
• Verify shipment and product accuracy, prevent damage, and maintain accurate inventory.
• Assign and monitor work, support facility maintenance and security, and ensure tasks are completed properly.

Requirements

• 4+ years of distribution center or warehouse experience.
• Ability to lead, train, communicate effectively, resolve complex issues, and organize work.
• Knowledge of department functions, warehouse processes, customer requirements, and basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment and work overtime as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of warehouse work, including walking, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Certification to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• High School diploma or GED.
