What you will do

• Develop power and ground systems for next-generation optical and Ethernet platforms.
• Design high-performance circuit pack power solutions, including schematics and layouts.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and thermal design teams to realize complex designs.
• Work with procurement and external supply partners to deliver components and sub-systems into production.
• Conduct design, verification, and performance reviews with peers.
• Verify system and sub-component designs using engineering and production prototypes.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering degree.
• 10+ years of experience working with electrical power systems in an industrial or utility environment.
• Proven expertise in system power and grounding design, power component circuit pack design, and the product development cycle.
• Experience with power lab test equipment, measurement techniques, and microelectronic power.
• Familiarity with PCB schematic capture and layout tools, and OEM design partnerships.
• Strong communication and project management skills with a track record of mentoring fellow engineers.

Nice to have

• Postgraduate degree in Electronics or Micro Electronics Power.
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation or eligibility.
• Knowledge of power and ground design standards for Telecom and Data center customers.
