What you will do

• Lead complex AV engagements from sales concept through design development and implementation support.
• Conceptualize system designs for concert audio, cinematic multi-cam, and theatrical lighting.
• Develop project estimates, Bills of Materials (BOM), and bid response submissions in partnership with sales.
• Generate technical documentation, including functional system descriptions, block wiring diagrams, and rack elevations.
• Create SketchUp models to communicate concepts to clients during early sales engagements.
• Test, commission, and configure subsystems during project deployment and support the build phase.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional live audio or video production experience as an end user in a relevant field.
• Mastery of production technologies with specialization in concert audio, broadcast video, or stage lighting.
• Ability to synthesize and create comprehensive AV system designs.
• Understanding of TCP/IP routing, QoS, VLANs, and Wireless Access Points.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365 and quoting tools like D-Tools or Jetbuilt.
• Thorough understanding of the construction process, installation, integration, and architectural drawings.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of broadcast technology including UHD, HDR, and SMPTE 2110 IP transport protocols.
• Exceptional time management skills and a track record of meeting deadlines.
• High level of problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
