Salary: $104,000 – $124,800

What you will do

• Develop detailed piping design documentation using AutoCAD Plant 3D for heavy industrial facilities.
• Prepare accurate piping construction drawings based on engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications.
• Collaborate with project engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Coordinate design activities, schedules, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
• Review project standards and design criteria to produce compliant, high-quality documentation.
• Perform field information gathering, including site assessments and documentation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in process piping design.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Recent hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Associate degree in industrial drafting, design, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of piping design principles, material properties, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering concepts into accurate design deliverables.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Construction Cloud (Forma), Navisworks, or similar coordination tools.
• Familiarity with field data collection and laser scanning technologies.
• Specialized drafting or engineering certifications.
