Presales Solutions Architect - Cloud Security

Location: US - Remote; occasional travel up to 20%; home office setup as determined by SHI management.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annual compensation, including base salary and bonus.

What you will do

• Design and deliver cloud security product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations.
• Lead client discovery sessions and assess cloud security maturity across workload protection, identity, data, network, and incident response capabilities.
• Design target-state architectures for multi-cloud security, zero trust access, workload protection, secrets management, IaC scanning, and enterprise security integrations.
• Develop reference architectures, battle cards, competitive analyses, technical briefs, and vendor evaluation frameworks.
• Evaluate cloud security vendors, recommend partner adoption and platform strategies, and conduct enablement sessions for engineering and sales teams.
• Identify new opportunities, support revenue growth, build client and partner relationships, and contribute to cloud security practice standards and innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years focused on cloud security architecture, cloud infrastructure security, or cloud-native security engineering.
• Experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting within cybersecurity or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience designing and securing environments on one or more major cloud platforms.
• Experience presenting cloud security topics to customers, internal teams, or professional groups.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
• Intermediate capability in project delivery, systems and infrastructure design, scripting, infrastructure components, orchestration, and Statements of Work.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, CISM, cloud platform security, Security+, CySA+, SANS GIAC, CEH, or ITIL certifications.
