Solutions Architect, Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: McLean, Virginia, USA; remote work is available, with occasional work at a Booz Allen or customer facility possible.

Salary: $112,800–$257,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Lead the development and integration of cybersecurity solutions and service offerings for federal networks.
• Design Zero Trust, ICAM, cloud security, automation, and orchestration capabilities.
• Research emerging technologies, including IoT security, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
• Develop security controls and countermeasures based on cyber threat intelligence and threat actor tactics.
• Collaborate with capture and delivery teams, senior clients, cybersecurity leaders, and strategic product vendors.
• Shape partnering and go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing and delivering technical solutions across multiple disciplines for large, complex organizations.
• 8+ years of experience in network architecture and design.
• Experience architecting Zero Trust solutions aligned with NIST 800-207 and the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture.
• Experience selecting and implementing security tools for large federal or commercial organizations.
• Experience leading product selection initiatives and guiding senior leaders and executives.
• Secret clearance required; high school diploma or GED required.

Nice to have

• Cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with A&O, AI and machine learning, NGFW, or Big Data.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
