What you will do

• Conduct privacy impact assessments and manage the full lifecycle of privacy incidents.
• Oversee daily operational oversight of healthcare privacy and AI compliance programs.
• Partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate regulatory requirements into executable workflows.
• Execute incident triage and investigations to ensure vendor practices respect patient data.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT teams on risk tracking and security incident reviews.
• Improve privacy operational processes, controls, and governance mechanisms.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (excluding Hawaii)
• 5+ years of professional compliance and data privacy experience.
• 2-3 years of focused experience within a healthcare environment subject to HIPAA/HITECH regulations.
• Hands-on experience executing Privacy Impact Assessments and managing privacy incidents.
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state-level medical privacy regulations.
• Proven track record collaborating with Information Security or IT teams on risk and incident review.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth digital health, health tech, or telehealth company.
• Professional privacy certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CHPC.
• Exposure to evaluating privacy implications of AI/ML models or automated clinical workflows.
• Experience building dashboards or operational reporting.
• Experience working with modern SaaS, cloud, or AI-enabled healthcare products.
