What you will do

• Execute annual and periodic company-wide compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Manage the company's policy management system, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align policies and training with evolving regulatory changes and risk priorities.
• Lead internal audits, assessments, and monitoring activities regarding policy adherence.
• Support risk assessments and contribute to the development of the internal annual audit plan.
• Collaborate with leadership to design and streamline operational workflows and documentation practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in compliance, training, risk management, or related consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven project management capabilities with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing compliance systems and related technologies.
• Ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous situations.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Durham office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or technology with knowledge of HIPAA and GDPR.
• Systems management experience with tools like Navex or LogicGate.
• Project management certifications and experience with data analysis.
