What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of major donors and high-capacity prospects to generate $3M+ in annual philanthropic revenue.
• Cultivate, solicit, and close five- to seven-figure investments across multiple organizational entities.
• Lead the development and execution of the national major gifts growth strategy.
• Partner with the CEO, Board members, and senior leadership to advance donor cultivation and solicitation efforts.
• Develop compelling proposals, cases for support, and personalized donor engagement experiences.
• Monitor portfolio performance and provide accurate revenue forecasts to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing transformational gifts.
• Demonstrated success in growing major gift portfolios and building donor pipelines.
• Experience partnering with CEOs, board members, and senior executives on complex fundraising strategies.
• Strong proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel approximately 20–25% for donor meetings and conferences.
• Strong interest in public charter school education, public policy, and advocacy.
