What you will do
- Lead integrated execution of hardware development, manufacturing, and deployment readiness across multiple programs.
- Serve as the primary operational interface between Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customers.
- Manage subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with schedules, quality expectations, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee Industrial Engineering and deployment readiness functions to drive manufacturing efficiency and process improvements.
- Manage departmental budgets, labor forecasts, and resource allocation to meet cost and schedule objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and technical professionals to build a high-performing organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in hardware development, manufacturing, or defense/aerospace environments.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and government contracting environments (FAR/DFARS).
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and operational performance metrics.
Nice to have
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Operations Management.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Experience within simulation and training systems industries.
