CAD Drafter IV (Aerospace): Developing and maintaining complex engineering product definition data for ground support equipment with an accent on 3D parametric models, MBD datasets, and multi-discipline system integration. Location: Space Coast, FL. Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

What you will do
- Lead the development and release of complex engineering product definition data using PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
- Define and implement Model-Based Definition (MBD) strategies to transition from drawing-centric to model-centric design.
- Design complex mechanical frameworks, fluid systems (piping/tubing), and electrical enclosures/harnesses.
- Architect enterprise-level large-scale CAD assemblies using top-down design and skeleton models.
- Mentor junior drafters and oversee the accuracy of engineering drawings and models through peer reviews.
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted design tools and generative design workflows to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or granted asylum/refugee status.
- AS degree with 10+ years of experience OR BS degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
- Advanced technical expertise with PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill PLM.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards (Y14.100, Y14.5, Y14.41).
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level large CAD assemblies.
Nice to have
- Expert-level experience with Creo extensions: AFX (structural steel), Piping (fluid systems), and Cabling (electrical).
- Deep knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3 piping codes.
- Experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for launch components.
- Background in custom machine design, including motors, actuators, and pneumatics.
- Experience managing external contract design support teams.
