Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: 100% Onsite in Maple Grove, MN 55369. US Citizenship is required for this role.

What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical products including structures, gun systems, and missile launchers.
• Perform technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of complex engineering problems.
• Create and maintain product parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11.
• Analyze design specifications to ensure compliance with military standards and product requirements.
• Develop and revise technical documentation and provide input for project plans and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal and external shops to support the manufacturing of designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Working knowledge of CAD systems, specifically PTC Pro-E or CREO.
• Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5-2009 or -2018).
• Experience with Tolerance Stack Analysis.
• Familiarity with Windchill (EPOM system).
• Experience in a military product production environment.
