What you will do

• Lead reliability engineering tasks throughout all five phases of new product development (NPD).
• Translate corporate warranty goals into hardware failure rate targets based on historical data.
• Prepare and execute DFMEA and DVP&R, coordinating with suppliers for qualification data.
• Build system-level reliability models and develop comprehensive test procedures.
• Plan and execute field testing and monitor early field performance to ensure targets are met.
• Drive continuous improvement by updating work instructions and incorporating lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in reliability engineering or product testing.
• Deep expertise in analyzing life test data using Weibull++ or equivalent software.
• Proven experience preparing and executing DFMEAs and using environmental test methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex electromechanical systems and firmware.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Apex, NC, USA.
