Global Commercial Operations Counsel (Biopharmaceutical)

Salary: $179,984.95–$243,509.05 annually

What you will do

• Advise the commercial value and access organization on complex transactions, price concessions, risk mitigation, and healthcare-sector relationships.
• Draft, negotiate, interpret, and enforce pricing, supply, and value-based agreements.
• Provide guidance on the Anti-Kickback Statute, antitrust laws, healthcare compliance, regulatory developments, and government enforcement actions.
• Counsel stakeholders on pricing strategies, business reviews, financial forecasting, and strategic commercial considerations.
• Review and approve promotional, educational, and patient-support programs and materials.
• Deliver legal and regulatory training and coordinate cross-functional support with business and law department colleagues.

Requirements

• J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least two years of experience practicing law.
• Strong transactional experience, including structuring, advising, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting complex contracts.
• Excellent legal analysis, communication, drafting, negotiation, judgment, client-service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and influence others and manage multidimensional projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Four or more years of corporate and/or law firm experience.
• Healthcare industry experience, including healthcare fraud and abuse, OIG guidance, pharmaceutical DOJ settlements, Medicare/Medicaid contracting, or congressional inquiries.
