Salary: $185,000–$230,000/year.

What you will do

• Develop and validate machine learning models and custom analytic algorithms.
• Implement AI-based software solutions for cloud and edge environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers on mission-critical projects.
• Translate customer needs and evolving demands into actionable product inputs.
• Conduct fieldwork at customer sites to ensure system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance and US citizenship required.
• BS degree in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software development life cycles.
• Ability to work onsite at Joint Base Lewis-McChord with 25% travel.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience deploying ML solutions to production environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and workflow automation.
