What you will do

• Devise new video-related solutions using a customer-obsessed scientific approach to solve ill-defined business problems.
• Design, develop, and implement Sponsored Brands Video experiences worldwide.
• Mentor other scientists and participate in the science hiring process to improve team skills and knowledge.
• Independently assess and drive the adoption of alternative video-related technologies.
• Articulate and address scientific challenges related to future customer needs and business problems.

Requirements

• Must be located in or authorized to work in the USA (New York or Seattle).
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• 3+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Strong experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling tools like R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, or scipy.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark.
