Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy ML models to solve practical business problems.
• Collaborate with business leaders and technical experts to develop new data sources.
• Improve modeling methodology and apply models with sound risk management.
• Operationalize and evaluate models for real-world production applications.
• Share software engineering best practices across the data science team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US; company is not sponsoring new employment authorization.
• PhD in a quantitative field with 1+ years of experience or BS/MS with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience creating and managing supervised learning models in production systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (TDD, code review, refactoring).
• Proficiency with the PyData stack (NumPy, Scikit-learn, Pandas).

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer lending or fintech.
• Experience managing technical teams.
• Skill in building predictive models end-to-end.
• Interest in neural networks for time series classification.
