What you will do

• Lead and manage all aspects of the facility's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs to ensure injury-free operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA 1910/1926 regulations, permits, and company safety requirements.
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Manage the facility safety training program for both employees and contractors.
• Serve as the primary contact for occupational health and medical surveillance programs.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen the site safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent industrial experience.
• 2-4+ years of occupational health and safety experience in heavy industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, power generation, chemical processing).
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926, and applicable state safety regulations.
• Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and qualify for a full-face respirator.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Nice to have

• Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, OHST, or CHST.
• Experience supporting operations and maintenance activities within an industrial facility.
