What you will do

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering staff across concurrent development programs.
• Organize and allocate resources according to EVMS schedules to ensure high-quality engineering output.
• Perform employee management functions including hiring, training, and performance reviews.
• Develop and mature design process standards, templates, and automation to increase efficiency.
• Drive the strategy for commercial obsolescence refresh of all electronics.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers/vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be a US Citizen due to federal contract obligations.
• 7+ years of professional Electrical Engineering work experience.
• Proven experience supervising a team of engineers.
• Technical competence in hardware design, development, and testing applications.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Nice to have

• MBA or Master's degree.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• 10+ years of Electrical Design Engineering experience.
• Familiarity with design life cycles, qualification, and certification of electronics for aircraft.
