Process Controls Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design, integrate, and install equipment and tools required for high-quality part production.
• Execute new programs including SOR preparation, forecasting, and equipment build.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and develop advanced process technology.
• Oversee delivery milestones and coordinate effectively with multiple suppliers.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
• Report project status and progress to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Ten years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Field Engineer, or related role.
• Five years of experience with electrical and control systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet, Devicenet, servo motors, and motion control.
• Experience with Fanuc robots setup and programming.
• Strong understanding of mechanical concepts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Must be able to report to the local office in Warren, Michigan.
