Senior Principal Foundry Engineer - HV/BCD Process Integration

What you will do

• Coordinate wafer manufacturing activities with third-party foundries, including capacity planning for short-term and long-term volumes.
• Drive delivery, throughput time, yield, and quality performance, including follow-up on improvement actions.
• Manage process changes, customer complaint holds, yield issues, processing excursions, and corrective actions.
• Lead new product transfers, process qualification, product introduction, and qualification activities at external foundries.
• Define and control project timelines, resources, risks, process gates, stakeholder reporting, and steering committee updates.
• Coordinate safe launches, volume ramp-ups, continuous yield improvement, supplier reviews, and support for sourcing negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, materials science, or electronics.
• At least 7 years of experience, preferably in a semiconductor fab environment, with process integration, device, or yield engineering experience.
• Fluent spoken Mandarin and English are required for regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional projects.
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices and processes, SPC, and statistical problem-solving methods.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Experience with KLA ACE XP, JMP, SPS, or similar statistical tools.
