Virtual Design Coordinator (BIM)

Location: Full-time in-office role in Raleigh, Charlotte, or Greensboro, North Carolina, or Norfolk, Virginia

Salary: $71,000–$98,000 annually for Virginia; ranges may vary by location. Annual bonuses and stock ownership options may also apply.

What you will do

• Oversee BIM projects across disciplines and serve as the primary contact for BIM-related questions.
• Lead BIM kickoff and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, project managers, and design teams.
• Manage model setup, project folders, file sharing, archival, and workflow alignment between offices and external partners.
• Review models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards.
• Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and coordinate multidisciplinary models.
• Review standards, identify training needs, and support Virtual Design software users.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience; 5 years preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Required experience with Revit, including project setup and model management.
• Ability to troubleshoot Revit and design software issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with colleagues and clients at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling is preferred.
