Architectural Technician (Architecture)

Location: On-site in Poughkeepsie or Latham, New York, United States

Salary: $45,000 - $64,000

What you will do

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, and schedules across all design phases.
• Coordinate technical drawings with structural, MEP, and civil engineering consultants.
• Perform building code research and assist in technical problem solving.
• Review shop drawings, product submittals, and RFIs under professional supervision.
• Support construction administration through field observations and punch list inspections.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience working for an Architectural/Engineering Consultant.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (preferred).
• Strong planning, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform required travel.
