Senior Data Center BIM Designer (Revit)

Location: Remote-based on the continental United States, with approximately 10–20% travel to project sites, fabrication facilities, and vendor/GC locations worldwide.

Salary: $103,280–$129,100 USD base salary, plus equity and subsidized benefits. Geographic pay tiers apply across U.S. labor markets.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a coordinated Revit/BIM model covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, piping, controls, and ICT disciplines.
• Create and govern BIM and drawing standards, including libraries, Revit families, standard details, templates, title blocks, and naming conventions.
• Develop drawing packages for ISO shipping containers, e-houses, skid-mounted equipment, and PEMB buildings.
• Run clash detection and cross-discipline coordination, review design output, and resolve conflicts as the senior technical escalation point.
• Work with product and engineering leadership to define modular BIM templates and campus-level design patterns for new data center products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on BIM/CAD design and drafting experience in commercial, industrial, modular, or offshore projects.
• Deep practical experience in either CSA or MEP, with strong working knowledge of the other discipline and demonstrated cross-discipline coordination ability.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, including multi-discipline modeling and clash detection with Navisworks or an equivalent tool.
• Experience building BIM standards, drawing libraries, templates, title blocks, and naming or layer conventions.
• Ability to work autonomously and define processes for a growing design organization.
• Ability to work remotely from the continental United States and travel approximately 10–20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized, modular, prefabricated, or skid-mounted data center drawing packages.
• Experience integrating controls, BMS, ICT, structured cabling, low voltage, fire alarm, or security systems into coordinated BIM models.
• Autodesk Certified Professional credentials, CDE administration, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, ISO 19650, openBIM, or ReCap experience.
• Experience with 4D scheduling and 5D cost or quantity takeoffs.
• Experience collaborating with product and hardware engineering teams on new product development.
