Senior Proposition Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Lead the development of new personal protection products and proposition enhancements.
• Assess product concepts against customer needs, commercial value, and regulatory expectations.
• Turn market insight and analysis into product development decisions and build business cases.
• Work with Distribution, Marketing, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Conduct, Operations, and Reinsurance teams.
• Manage product governance, including Product Lifecycle Management and Value for Money assessments.
• Review product performance, risks, and customer outcomes while supporting multiple delivery priorities.

Requirements

• Strong experience in UK protection product development, ideally personal protection.
• Knowledge of UK protection products, customers, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with product governance, Product Lifecycle Management, and customer outcome considerations.
• Ability to shape proposition strategy, develop business cases, and deliver through to implementation.
• Strong commercial judgement and experience influencing senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple specialist teams and business areas.

Nice to have

• Financial planning or insurance qualifications such as CII FPC, APFS, ACII, or equivalent experience.
