AI Product Manager (LegalTech)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model; work abroad is permitted for up to 3 months per year.

What you will do

• Define and champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap for an AI product area and the Covenants squad.
• Build AI-powered legal document extraction, covenant analysis, conversational AI, agentic workflows, and cross-document analysis.
• Research user workflows and synthesize customer, subject-matter-expert, qualitative, quantitative, and usage data into structured problem statements.
• Partner with ML engineers, data scientists, software engineers, legal analysts, credit teams, designers, and customers to deliver products.
• Define and use evaluation frameworks for model accuracy, quality, source attribution, explainability, and reliability in legal contexts.
• Track client and business metrics, improve annotation quality and ground truth data, and establish feedback loops for continuous model improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on ML or GenAI products.
• Working knowledge of RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, hallucination management, and probabilistic AI systems.
• Experience shipping AI products and balancing ML research or exploration with production delivery constraints.
• Ability to read Python notebooks and SQL to investigate model outputs and usage data.
• Strong product strategy, discovery, prioritization, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to explain AI capabilities and limitations to technical and non-technical stakeholders without overselling.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, legal tech, or data and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with credit markets, debt instruments, regulatory workflows, credit agreements, or covenant packages.
• Experience with NLP for document analysis, agent orchestration frameworks, tool-use patterns, or multi-step AI workflows.
• Legal, paralegal, credit analyst, or adjacent domain experience with the ability to quickly build expertise.
