Assistant Product Manager (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; office attendance required at least four days per week, with up to one day working from home.

What you will do

• Assist with the development and launch of new products for the UK market.
• Manage small product changes and support major initiatives, including fund mergers, closures, and repositioning for growth.
• Maintain product pipelines, run-books, meeting notes, and action logs to support product governance.
• Engage stakeholders across the firm to facilitate successful product outcomes.
• Respond to product queries and information or data requests from internal teams and external data vendors.
• Support the Director of UK Product Change & Development while building product knowledge with senior colleagues.

Requirements

• Strong numeracy skills, including the ability to compile, analyse, interpret, and present data clearly and accurately.
• Capable user of Excel.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarise ideas and prepare shareholder communications.
• Proactive use of Artificial Intelligence to improve product management processes and decision-making.
• Well organised, diligent, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to challenge and be challenged.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in asset management or knowledge of life and pension funds.
• Experience in a product role or related function.
• Investment-related qualifications such as IMC, or commitment to attaining one.
