What you will do

• Conduct outbound and inbound collection and customer service calls to mitigate losses.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal and state laws regarding collections and servicing activities.
• Manage productive follow-ups for accounts delinquent from 5 to 90+ days.
• Investigate and resolve complex loan servicing issues, including bankruptcy, insurance claims, and repossessions.
• Negotiate payment extensions and refinance options to reach win-win solutions for customers.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in collections or servicing, ideally in auto finance or installment loans.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic understanding of finance and lending.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• Some college coursework.
• Lease servicing experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
