Senior IT Procurement Specialist

Location: New Brunswick, Canada; hybrid or remote work arrangements available. Candidates must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Canadian permanent resident or citizenship status.

Salary: CAD 88,157–110,197 per year, plus eligibility for performance-based incentive programs.

What you will do

• Coordinate procurement and renewals for IT hardware, software, and services while supporting business objectives and compliance.
• Build supplier relationships, monitor performance, contribute to negotiations, and improve value, quality, innovation, and risk management.
• Analyze spending and identify opportunities for contract optimization, standardization, consolidation, and demand management.
• Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Streamline, standardize, and automate procurement processes while maintaining documentation, templates, training materials, and playbooks.
• Use market insights, emerging technology, and AI-enabled tools to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT procurement and supplier management, including complex IT procurements.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with spend analysis, demand management, sourcing strategies, procurement methodologies, IT products and services, and legal or regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing procurement policies, playbooks, or training materials and leading process or change initiatives.
• English proficiency, written and spoken, is required. Reliability Status Clearance at Enhanced Level B is required, including fingerprinting, criminal record, and credit checks.

Nice to have

• Procurement or supply chain certification such as PMAC, SCMP, ISM, or CTPE.
• French language skills, written and spoken.
