Consultant, Procurement (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for indirect spend categories across Risk, Enterprise Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other corporate functions.
• Advise internal clients on sourcing approaches, supplier selection methodologies, RFPs, contract analysis, and procurement recommendations.
• Develop, negotiate, execute, and implement low- to moderate-complexity procurement contracts.
• Draft contract content, including commercial terms and scopes of work, independently or with legal support.
• Lead contract negotiations, secure approvals, and ensure supplier governance and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Build relationships with business partners, suppliers, Supplier Risk Stakeholders, Relationship Managers, and Business Leads.

Requirements

• Experience with procurement and/or supplier processes, practices, tools, templates, and formal sourcing principles.
• Ability to plan assignments, manage multiple priorities, and meet timelines independently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.

Nice to have

• Experience drafting contract schedules such as scopes of work and service-level agreements.
• Knowledge of back-office operations, offshoring, and outsourcing-services contracts.
