Sr. Consultant, Procurement

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities focused primarily on software, SaaS, and IT services.
• Develop procurement research and sourcing strategies, select vendors, and negotiate commercial deals.
• Draft contract content, including scopes of work, commercial terms, and other schedules.
• Coordinate legal resources, subject matter experts, business leads, supplier risk stakeholders, and relationship managers.
• Manage contract approvals and ensure compliance with procurement and supplier governance policies.
• Handle multiple moderate- to high-complexity projects while identifying cost savings, reducing risks, and driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in procurement and/or supplier processes, practices, tools, templates, and formal sourcing principles.
• Strong planning, prioritization, multitasking, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Experience managing procurement assignments, timelines, contract processes, and supplier relationships.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels and work collaboratively across business functions.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, personal initiative, and attention to detail.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.

Nice to have

• Experience drafting contract schedules such as scopes of work and commercial terms.
• Knowledge of SaaS, cloud, or IT services contracts.
• French proficiency may be assessed.
