Business Risk Manager, Sustainability (Vice President)

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the Bank’s Sustainability framework and policy.
• Manage governance forums and coordinate policy development and implementation across relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, emerging sustainability trends, and best practices; conduct impact assessments and lead resulting changes.
• Develop tools, processes, and controls to support ongoing compliance with the Sustainability framework and policy.
• Support post-implementation reviews, user feedback analysis, audits, regulatory inspections, compliance testing, and reviews of regulatory and audit findings.
• Collaborate with Product, Platforms, Risk, Compliance, Group Audit, and other stakeholders across the three lines of defence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in banking preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, client interfacing, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Self-driven and confident, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
• Persuasive and persistent, with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
• Well-organized, with experience managing senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Relevant professional certification(s) in sustainability.
• Familiarity with financial products, services, and processes.
• Experience building and/or using AI and data tools.
