Business Risk Manager, Sustainability (Vice President)

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the Sustainability framework and policy.
• Manage governance forums related to Sustainability framework and policy development and implementation.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, emerging sustainability trends, and best practices; conduct impact assessments and lead related change implementation.
• Develop tools, processes, and controls to support ongoing compliance with the Sustainability framework and policy.
• Coordinate post-implementation reviews, user feedback, audits, regulatory inspections, compliance testing, and reviews of regulatory and audit findings.
• Collaborate with Product, Platforms, Risk, Compliance, Group Audit, and senior stakeholders across the three lines of defence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of industry experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in banking preferred.
• Strong understanding of analytical and problem-solving methods in complex and evolving environments.
• Excellent communication, influencing, presentation, interpersonal, and client-interfacing skills.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and delivering initiatives independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in sustainability.
• Familiarity with financial products, services, and processes.
• Experience building or using AI and data tools.
