Microsoft 365 Migration & Copilot Specialist

Location: Milan, Italy; hybrid work arrangement. A valid working visa for the EU is required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Design migration strategies, coexistence plans, cutover activities, timelines, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Manage identity and directory challenges involving Entra ID, domain consolidation, federation, identity mapping, and user lifecycle management.
• Use Quest On Demand Migration, Migration Manager, or equivalent platforms to deliver migration projects.
• Optimize Microsoft 365 licensing and implement security solutions including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, DLP, Microsoft Defender, and Purview.
• Support Microsoft Copilot adoption and governance while producing technical documentation, runbooks, and operational handover materials.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID, identity synchronization, federation, identity governance, and access management.
• Experience with Quest On Demand Migration, Migration Manager, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing models, including E3, E5, Business Premium, add-ons, and advanced security capabilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance technologies, including Defender, Purview, DLP, eDiscovery, and Conditional Access.
• Professional or fluent written and verbal English and Italian are required. PowerShell scripting, analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management experience are also required.
