Field Support IT Analyst

Location: Reggio Emilia, Italy; onsite support at the facility

What you will do

• Own IT activities at the manufacturing facility and act as the primary IT contact for the Plant Manager and plant staff.
• Provide local desktop and network support, manage incidents and requests in ServiceNow, and keep customers informed of resolution progress.
• Represent plant requirements to infrastructure, ERP, manufacturing, and other central IT teams.
• Maintain technology roadmaps, IT scorecards, standards, policies, local infrastructure, network components, and peripherals.
• Participate in P1/P2 incident calls, communicate plant impact and resolution status, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Support deployments and rollouts involving Windows 10/11, Office 365, Windows Server, PC hardware, and local area networks.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline, related vocational training, certification, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of related professional experience; 5+ years may substitute for preferred educational qualifications.
• English at B2 level required; stronger reading, writing, and speaking fluency is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of business processes, information systems, technology, IT support, and analytical problem solving.
• Experience documenting and managing business requirements, using business analysis techniques, and working cross-functionally.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and understand manufacturing and operational environments.

Nice to have

• ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
• Knowledge of SOX and ITIL.
• Familiarity with project management tools, Agile methodologies, process mapping, and data modeling.
