What you will do

• Conduct head and body scanning sessions with actors using an in-house rig.
• Capture high-quality 3D scans of props and environments through studio and location scouting.
• Process captured images into 3D assets using photogrammetry workflows.
• Maintain and troubleshoot scanning studio equipment and hardware.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to develop internal tools and pipelines.
• Support the Boston Motion Capture team with on-stage activities as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with photogrammetry.
• Proficiency in photogrammetry software such as RealityScan or Agisoft Metashape.
• Strong understanding of photography principles and camera operation.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software including ZBrush, Maya, or Blender.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with photogrammetry rigs.
• Experience working with actors, performers, or models in a studio environment.
• Practical experience using hand and power tools to maintain scanning equipment.
