What you will do

• Create original costume designs using strong conceptual ideas and visual creativity.
• Generate diverse ideas through research, rough sketches, and shape exploration.
• Develop detailed call-out sheets, poses, and attitudes that reflect character inner workings.
• Provide color styling for characters.
• Collaborate with Production Designers, Art Directors, and Character Designers to translate 2D drawings into 3D shapes.
• Manage project deadlines and communicate progress to production staff.

Requirements

• Ability to design from concept to finish independently.
• Strong understanding of design principles and 3D form.
• Ability to adapt to a broad range of styles, from realistic to stylized.
• Strong time management skills.
• Must be based in the USA

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Knowledge of Maya and/or ZBrush.
• Experience with the science fiction genre.
